In this series I am exploring the passages through time that the earth, and we, traverse. From fossils of past living nature imprinted through millenia of geologic pressures, from human art on cave walls, to the modern day use of acrylics, and from the harnassing by mankind of elemental earth, fire, and water for basic vessel building, I have tried to show that we stand on the shoulders of all that has come before us. The orangy glow may be of an ancient torch within a cave, or a headlamp of a modern day explorer discovering a living "passage" of time.
